I was so excited to go on this study abroad trip to London and Paris because I had previously never been anywhere outside the United States except for a cruise to the Bahamas. I have plenty of friends that have been to other countries and told me all about it. Originally the group was supposed to leave on May 1, 2009 to head for London. As a group we all decided to take care of our finals early so that we could depart early on April 30, 2009. Dr. Merrick, our group leader, was already in London awaiting our arrival. Most of the students met up at the Tampa airport because we were on the same flight. The flight was very long, but we survived and were very excited to see london!
