Paris Day 4
Day 4 in Paris was a free day for everyone to do whatever they wanted. Heather, Amber, Wendy, Kaitlyn, Joanna, and myself decided to go to the Lourve. There was so much beautiful art at the Lourve. It was a huge museum, the biggest one I have ever seen! We were at the museum for over three hours and did not even get close to seeing everything. I think that someone could visit that place four or five times and still not see everything that the museum has to offer. After the Lourve we all decided to go look around at the sovenier shops again. That night we all hung out and played catch phrase. We were all sad that we had to depart back to the United States the next morning.

Paris Day 3
Day 3 in Paris myself and a few other people went to Normandy. I am in the Army so it was really a great experience to go and see where our troops once fought. We had to take the train to Normandy. The train ride was about 2 hours. We had to leave early in the morning so we slept on the way there. We had a private guided tour while at Normandy. The tour lasted pretty much all day long. We got to see so many cool things and learned alot about what our troops went through. We also learned about what the French think of us. When we got back to the hotel we played catch phrase and then went on a late night snack run to McDonalds. The trip to McDonalds was very interesting because we got lost.

Paris Day 2
On day 2 in Paris we got up and went to our favorite bakery to start our day. The first thing that we did that day was go over to the American University of Paris for a lecture on the Muslim Veil. After the lecture we went on the open top bus tour to get familiar with Paris. I liked the bus tour because it allowed us to see the city attractions a little closer than the river cruise allowed. When we were done with the bus tour a couple of us decided to go souvenir shopping. Later that night we all went to dinner together and then went to a cabernet show. The show was very interesting.

London to Paris Day 1
On our 6th day of the trip we took the Eurostar to get from London to Paris. Day 1 in Paris was very busy. As soon as we arrived in Paris we went straight into activities. The first thing we did was go to our hotel to drop off our luggage. There was a great bakery around the corner from our hotel that would soon be all of our favorites. After dropping off our luggage we went to the bakery to grab some lunch. After lunch we went to tour the Cathedral of Notre Dame. We took a guided tour and then after the tour we toured the cathedral on our own. After Notre Dame we went back to the hotel for a quick 30 minute break. The break went by very fast and then we were off to dinner. At dinner we were all anticipating what was coming after. We were in Paris so of course it was the Eiffel Tower!! I was so excited to go to the Eiffel Tower. I have seen so many pictures before so I could not wait to see it in person. While at the Eiffel Tower we of course went all the way to the top. The view was amazing! After we finished we went on a night river cruise. The cruise was cool because it allowed us to see alot of Paris while being on the river. The city was very beautiful at night because there were alot of lights. The first day of Paris was fun, but exhausting.

London Day 5
Day 5 of London was fun, but sad at the same time. This was our last day in London. The next day we were waking up early and then taking the train over to Paris. The group as a whole had fun in London and we did not want to leave, but at the same time we were excited to get to Paris. On our last day in London we all went to St. Paul's Cathedral as a group. We took a guided tour of the cathedral and then we were on our own for the rest of the day. St. Paul's Cathedral was very beautiful. After visiting the cathedral Heather and I went over to Trafalgar Sqare to take pictures with the big Lions. We had been trying to get pictures there all week but they were blocked off. After Trafalgar Square we decided to go back to Buckinham Palace to get some close up pictures. We had previously went to Buckingham Palace on the first day to see the changing of the guard ceremony, but did not get up close to the palace. On the last night Heather, Amber, Savanna, and I went to see the play Wicked. The play was fabulous!
